Family-run, locally owned landscaping serving Chattanooga and surrounding Hamilton County. We pick up the phone, show up when we said we would, and leave the yard looking better than we found it.
Locally owned, owner-operated
Scenic Garden Solutions is a family-run landscaping company based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We're small on purpose — the same crew that walks your property to give you the estimate is the crew that does the work. No call centers, no rotating subcontractors, no "your project manager just left the company" emails.
Most of our work is residential — single-family homes across Chattanooga, East Ridge, Red Bank, Hixson, Ooltewah, Signal Mountain, and Lookout Mountain. We focus on the services Chattanooga homeowners actually need: sod installation on tough clay subsoil, French drains for the standing-water problems that come with our soil, mulching that lasts, shrub trimming done at the right season for the plant, and the seasonal yard cleanups that keep everything looking sharp.
What we believe about the work
Show up when we said we would
Most landscaping complaints start with one thing: a crew that didn't arrive, didn't communicate, and didn't apologize. We text you the morning of every visit with an arrival window. If we're going to be late, you'll know before we are.
Quote in writing, no surprises
Every estimate is written, itemized, and locked. If the job grows because of something we couldn't see at the walk-through (buried cable, rotted root mass, a discovery only the work reveals), we stop, photograph it, and call you before adding cost. Never "oh, by the way, that's another $800."
Do the prep, even when nobody can see it
Most landscaping shortcuts happen underground — sod laid on un-prepped soil dies in two months, French drains laid without fabric clog in two years, mulch dumped on weeds returns to weeds in two weeks. We do the prep work that doesn't show up in photos because it's the thing that makes the work last.
Leave it cleaner than we found it
Driveways blown clean. Walkways swept. Tarps used to keep beds out of the lawn during transitions. The "nobody was here" finish, even after a big job.
What we do — and what we don't
We focus on six services we can do well in any Chattanooga yard:
- Sod installation — Bermuda, fescue, zoysia
- Mulching — hardwood, pine, dyed
- Shrub trimming — at the right season for each plant
- French drain installation
- Yard drainage solutions — broader than French drains
- Yard cleanups — spring, fall, post-storm
What we don't do (so you don't have to ask twice): we don't take down trees with chainsaws on the trunk (we partner with a tree service for that), we don't install irrigation systems from scratch (though we'll repair existing ones), and we don't do hardscape design (patios, retaining walls). For everything outside our core six, we'll tell you straight and refer you to someone who's better at it.
Insured and reliable
We carry general liability insurance and worker's compensation on every job. We're happy to provide a certificate of insurance to any homeowner who asks — and to any HOA or property manager that requires one before work starts. (License and insurance carrier details available on request.)
