About this project

This one had years of overgrowth on it. Foundation shrubs had swallowed the beds, a big holly hedge by the garage had gone shapeless, weeds had taken the bed lines, and the lawn had thinned out in patches. We took it back to a clean starting point and rebuilt the landscape around the house.

What the job included:

  • Cleared the overgrowth and re-cut every bed line, then edged them with steel.
  • Installed dark hardwood mulch across the foundation beds, the corner tree ring, and the deck surround.
  • Renovated the shrubs — tightened the foundation plantings and brought the overgrown holly hedge back to a clean, rounded form.
  • Laid fresh sod in the thin spots so the lawn reads even against the new beds.
  • Built a river-rock stepping-stone path along the deck where grass never grew well.

An overgrown hedge, brought back

The holly hedge by the garage had lost its shape entirely. We renovated it back to a clean, rounded form without shocking the plant.

The work · Stone path

A river-rock path where grass wouldn't grow

The strip along the deck stayed muddy and bare. We turned it into a river-rock stepping-stone path — a dry, finished walkway that needs no mowing.

The services in this project
